NCSY‘s forthcoming YouthCon is a rare event. Scheduled for Sunday, August 21 in Stamford, CT, YouthCon is generating lots of buzz.
The one-day conference, designed for Jewish educators and lay leaders of all backgrounds, boasts an unprecedented line-up representing more than 90 of the world’s leading informal and formal educational organizations across the Jewish spectrum. More than 50 national leaders in Jewish education are headlining the event, including among them Charles Harary (founder of Milvado, an organization promoting innovative methods of teaching spirituality in a relevant and modern ways), Lori Palatnik (founding director of The Jewish Women’s Renaissance Project), Rabbi Jonathan Rosenblatt (senior rabbi of the Riverdale Jewish Center) and many others. Organizations represented at YouthCon so far include BBYO, Camp Stone, Chabad International, Hillel, NFTY, Ramaz, Young Judaea, and others too numerous to mention.
