Police have arrested two suspects for painting a swastika on a synagogue in Indiana: Nolan Brewer, 20, and a co-conspirator who has not been named. The pair are suspected of painting a black swastika and the Nazi Iron Cross last month on a wall at Shaarey Tefilla, a Conservative synagogue near Indianapolis.
Police say the accused were caught on surveillance video from a Wal-Mart, purchasing spray paint and bandanas the day before the vandalism occurred.
Brewer is facing a criminal complaint with conspiracy to violate civil rights. If convicted, he could face a 10-year sentence.
