I want to thank all those whose efforts contributed toward making this year’s Tisha B’Av webcast the superlative success that it was. (If you missed it, you can see it here.) It was humbling to receive comments and feedback from viewers around the globe. Thousands of people tuned in from all around the world, making this a truly global event.
On behalf of the OU and all who watched the webcast both live and over the web, I’d like to thank the many people who contributed toward making the event successful: David Frankel, Gary Magder, Dan Jeselsohn, Miriam Weiland, Shelomo Dobkin, Joe Neuman, Moshe Steinberg, Florence Arking, Yoel Bender, Mindy Lehman and Avi Block for handling the technical side of things; David Olivestone, Malka Braun and Tova Belsh for coordinating the logistical side of the event; Anthony Lugo and his team for setting up the space; and of course Rabbi Weinreb for his profoundly-moving words of insight and chizzuk. As successful as this event was, it is one that I fervently hope never needs holding again.
