The Orthodox Union joined numerous Jewish organizations as a sponsor at the U.S. Capitol for a rally against anti-Semitism on Sunday to denounce anti-Semitism, the surge of attacks against Jews nationwide and to show support for Israel.
Speakers included Rabbi Shlomo Noginski, a Chabad rabbi still recovering from being attacked in Boston in front of a Jewish day school; Elisha Wiesel, the son of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Elie Wiesel; Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Rabbi Jeffrey Myers; and many others.
