OU/ NCYI Bereavement Support Groups via Zoom |
There are various benefits a grief support group can provide a first-year griever. They allow grievers not to feel as lonely and provide a safe place to channel feelings. Groups can provide helpful coping strategies & relevant educational information which can better enable efficient navigation of the grief process.
NCYI/OU will be offering two Bereavement Support Groups via Zoom. This program is being offered to members & affiliates of NCYI and OU Shuls and this program is generously sponsored by YI Woodmere. We thank YI Woodmere for their generosity. |
There will be 6 scheduled group dates and up to 9 spots for group attendees. The loss should be no earlier than 60 days from the start date of the group and will focus on grievers within their first 12-14 month post their loss. You can email bereavementcounseling613@gmail.com for any questions or concerns.
