25 Oct 2013

Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will be leading an OU Weekend at the Irving Place Minyan in Woodmere, from Friday, November 1-Saturday, November 2, (Shabbat Parshat Toldot).

The OU member synagogue is located at 111 Irving Place, The Morgenstern School Auditorium.

Rabbi Weil will speak at the Oneg Shabbat on Friday night. Shabbat morning he will speak after morning services on “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus – The Orthodox Version.” In the afternoon after Mincha, he will address “The Light at The End of the Tunnel – Solutions and Opportunities in the Tuition Crisis.”

“It is a personal and professional privilege to welcome my friend and mentor (and fellow Upstate New York native) Rabbi Weil to our community,” said Rabbi Ariel Rackovsky of the Irving Place Minyan. “Rabbi Weil is of the vanguard dealing with the serious issues facing the Jewish people today, and I know that our community will learn a great deal from, and be inspired by his presentations.”
