The Orthodox Union Department of Synagogue and Community Services will present Rabbi Steven Weil, OU senior managing director, to lead an OU Community Weekend at the Willie and Celia Trump Synagogue in Williams Island from Friday, February 12 to Saturday, February 13 Shabbat Parshat Terumah.
The OU-member synagogue is located at 3000 Island Boulevard, Suite 329, Aventura.
Friday evening following Kabbalat Shabbat services and Shabbat dinner, Rabbi Weil will give a lecture on “Are We On The Verge Of World War III? An Analysis of the Sunnis and Shiites, the Iranian Deal and the Ramifications for Israel and the Western World.” Saturday morning following the Shacharit service he will deliver a sermon on “Shaping the 21st Century: Our Ability to Impact the Greater Jewish World.” Rabbi Weil will culminate the community weekend with his afternoon speech before Mincha on “From Wall Street to Main Street to Madison Avenue: The Fascinating World of Jewish Business Ethics.”
