The Orthodox Union Department of Synagogue and Community Services will present Rabbi Steven Weil, OU senior managing director, to lead an OU Community Weekend at the Palm Beach Synagogue from Friday, February 5 to Saturday, February 6 Shabbat Parshat Mishpatim.

The OU-member synagogue is located at 120 North County Road.

Friday evening following Kabbalat Shabbat services and Shabbat dinner, Rabbi Weil will give a lecture on “The Long and Winding Road: 1200 Years of Ashkenazic Jewry.” Saturday morning following the Shacharit service he will deliver a sermon on “The Trinity Over the Danube.” Rabbi Weil will culminate the community weekend with his speech during Seudat Shlishit on “The Davidic Legacy.”

Rabbi Moshe E. Scheiner, spiritual leader of the Palm Beach Synagogue, said, “We eagerly look forward to Rabbi Weil’s annual visit to our synagogue as he brings not only an unparalleled depth and breadth of knowledge with him, but additionally a passionate love for the Torah, the Jewish People and the Land of Israel.”
