He noted, “This weekend marks a historic moment in the life of the Boynton Beach Orthodox community. Our shul began seven years ago with a small group of families, and now we are close to 100 families. As a past president of the Orthodox Union, I have known Rabbi Weil since his early work as a rabbi in Detroit. I am extremely proud that he will honor our synagogue with his presence and his classes. His visit is a testimony to the growing Boynton Beach Jewish community.”
David Fischberger, President of Anshei Chesed, declared, “We are truly honored to have Rabbi Steven Weil with us this Shabbat. His presence will enhance our endeavors and allow our kehillah to become a true force for Torah within the greater Boynton Beach community.”
He continued, “It is with tremendous gratitude to Hashem that we are gathering this Shabbat, Parshat Vayeishev, to celebrate the official dedication of our shul, Congregation Anshei Chesed of Boynton Beach. This time of joy will enable us to acknowledge the many people who have made this momentous dream a reality.”
