OU’S RABBI WEIL TO VISIT ATLANTA AS SCHOLAR-IN-RESIDENCE AT YOUNG ISRAEL OF TOCO HILLS, NOVEMBER 30-DECEMBER 1
Rabbi Steven Weil, Executive Vice President of the Orthodox Union, will visit the Atlanta Jewish community as Scholar-in-Residence at the Young Israel of Toco Hills from Friday, November 30-Saturday, December 1 (Shabbat Parshat Vayishlach). The synagogue is located at 2074 LaVista Road NE in Atlanta.
Rabbi Weil will speak a special Friday night dinner at the shul addressing “The Two Greatest Challenges Facing 21st Century Orthodoxy.” On Shabbat morning, he will discuss “Bumper Stickers.” Shabbat afternoon, Rabbi Weil will present a workshop one hour before mincha on the topic of “An Architectural Blueprint for Jewish History.” Rabbi Weil will also speak during seudat shlishit on “New Frontier in Addressing the Tuition Crisis.”
