The OU Job Board in conjunction with New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind will present a job fair in Brooklyn from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 23 at the Young Israel of Midwood, 1694 Ocean Avenue.
“The OU Job Board has successfully run job fairs for the past seven years, becoming invaluable to employers by encouraging the attendance of only those qualified for the positions advertised,” explained OU Job Board Executive Director Michael Rosner. “The job fairs presented by the OU Job Board average 600 attendees.”
The OU Job Board will provide employers with tables, chairs, signage, list of job offerings, venue maps, Wi-Fi and snacks, as well as professional staff to serve employers’ requirements and needs.
Participation for employers costs $200 and is tax-deductible; non-profit organizations pay $100. Employers will receive substantial advertisements for their company name and job openings.
Sponsors, beginning at $500, will receive additional exposure on radio; newspaper ads; an ad on the OU Job Board website, which is seen by approximately 20,000 unique visitors a month; and prime placement within an OU Job Board email blast, which reaches more than 100,000 individuals within the New York/New Jersey area. It is not necessary to offer positions at the fair to be a sponsor.
