Nachum Segal hosted Dr. Shimmy Tenenbaum, Chairman of the Orthodox Union 2014 National Convention (from Teaneck) and Rabbi Judah Isaacs, Director of Community Engagement and Synagogue Services at the Orthdox Union live in the studio during this morning’s JM in the AM for a comprehensive preview of the upcoming 2014 OU Convention.
This year’s convention will take place over the weekend of December 26-28 at the Doubletree Tarrytown in Tarrytown, NY. As always, the OU has prepared a world-class roster of renowned speakers to help discuss the pressing issues facing Jewish communities in the U.S., Israel and around the world. Topics and issues that will be explored during the convention will include day school affordability, pre/post nuptials, bringing women to the communal leadership table and combating heightened global anti-Semitism.
