The Shmirah Project

Israel

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 11/20/2012

We are running a group that matches IDF soldiers with people around the world to do a good deed or pray in their merit.

In Israel many people sign on with www.eleflamate.com

Texting / calling option in US is 443-203-8592

Calling in Israel: 02-581-1911

We are looking to reach out to as many chayalim and families of chayalim as possible to sign them up to receive matches. We also would like as many people as possible to sign up to pray for one of these brave soldiers.

This new project is inspired by Rav Simcha Kook, Chief Rabbi Rechovot & The Hurva with the Bostoner Rebbe, zt”l and supported by many other Great Rabbis just as it was in 2009. It’s being led by parents of a lone soldier currently in tzchanchanim.

It costs nothing to participate in this program. It can drive traffic to your site or publication and perhaps broaden your appeal to readers. This program has rabbinical approbation from Rav Aharon Feldman, Shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Israel in Baltimore, among other rabbis and community leaders.

For Hebrew readers, there was an article about it posted on ynet.co.il this morning (Tuesday).

PS I’m attaching some letters and the transcript of the American interview with Ynet.co.il . The Ynet article also extensively featured Rav Kook’s yeshiva and the people staffing the website effort there.
