OU Volunteers arrived on the beaches of Nitzan, where Mr. Gaydimak, a wealthy man in Israel, is sponsoring thousands of refugees from the North, in tent cities. They set up their own tents, their accommodations for Shabbat, coming at the request of the directors of the tent cities to run Shabbat programming, teach classes and lead Tefillot (prayer) services. Aharon Razel, a popular musician in Israel, who has been working with the OU to entertain the refugees and uplift their spirits with music, came too.
