Meet Rivka Ravitz, the chief of staff to Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. At 39, aside from her full-time position, she is the mother of 11 children and is currently working towards her Ph.D. in public policy. I24 news profiled this remarkable woman—the first charedi woman to occupy this position.
Ravitz said that while some in the charedi community object to being represented by women, she thinks that will change. “It will change in the years,” she said. “It can’t be forced. It’s the right place to change things.”
