Anti-Semitism

From Congregation Tirefeth Beth David Jerualem in Montreal:

We undertook a project a few days ago to help pay tribute to the 11 holy victims whose lives were taken in Pittsburgh. A poster with their photos and names was created. It was displayed at our community vigil Monday night, and last night 4-foot tall versions hung at the vigils held on McGill and Concordia campuses.

We’ve printed copies for a dozen local shuls, have had a couple of mayors ask for copies to be hung at their respective City Halls, and have also shared it via Facebook in order to reach as many shuls (or schools and other institutions) as possible.

It has no institutional names or logos or credits on it, so everyone should feel comfortable with it. We thought having it visible around the world this coming Shabbat would be a fitting tribute and would contribute to the #SolidaryShabbat, #ShowupforShabbat and #StandWithPittsburgh initiatives that we’re seeing a lot of.
