There once was a traveling maggid, who made his living by delivering drashos in shuls throughout the land. Unfortunately, he only knew one drasha, which was on parshas Korach. This worked great one week each year but the rest of the time proved to be quite a challenge. Eventually, the maggid had an idea. Whenever he visited a town, he would get up at the bimah and say, “Looking out at this esteemed congregation, I feel as nervous as Korach falling into the earth. And speaking of Korach.…”
