On motzoei Shabbos, March 13, from 8:30-9:30 PM, Rabbi Dr. Aaron E. Glatt will present his annual yahrtzeit shiur in memory of Mr. Joseph Glatt, Yosef Nisan ben Yechezkel a”h. The topic will be an installment of Rabbi Glatt’s popular series “Something to Say at the Seder,” some previous editions of which can be found on OU Holidays.
Rabbi Dr. Glatt, MD, MACP, FIDSA, FSHEA is the Associate Rabbi at the Young Israel of Woodmere. He has been giving a Daf Yomi shiur for 30 years, in addition to weekly gemara b’iyun shiur, daily halacha shiurim, and many other classes. An international lecturer on medical and halachic issues, Rabbi Dr. Glatt has authored two seforim, Visiting the Sick: A halachic and medical guide and Women in the Talmud (published by OU Press), as well as many medical articles. A board-certified infectious diseases physician, Rabbi Dr. Glatt currently serves as the Professor and Chair of Medicine at Mount Sinai South Nassau, and has previously served as a hospital President/CEO, and as an Associate Dean at NY Medical College. On OU Torah, Rabbi Dr. Glatt delivers the daily Dirshu Mishnah Brurah Yomi shiur.
