The Ba’al HaTurim at the beginning of Va’era points out that the gematria of the word Va’era is 208, the same as Yitzchak because it was in his merit that we were redeemed in Egypt. Weren’t we redeemed in the merit of all 3 forefathers? Why do we break the middle matzah, which represents Levi, in half?
