Why does the Torah virtually repeat the pasuk with minor differences? Did they go into the sea which then turned into dry land or did they walk into the sea after it was already dry? The Vilna Gaon answers that it refers to two distinct groups.
The Meshech Chochma asks: Bnei Yisrael were redeemed because they maintained their Jewish identity and unity. Why was the Satan almost able to prevent Bnei Yisrael being saved at the Yam Suf but not in Egypt?
