Rosh Hashanah

Pursuant to our acclaimed “Sinai at Home” program, OU Torah Initiatives is proud to present Chag at Home, a way for all of us to get our holiday inspiration in this pandemic era.

Chag at Home features dozens of packets of educational material – articles, source sheets, family discussions, and more – to enable individuals of all levels and backgrounds to enjoy a meaningful Torah experience in the absence of their usual shiurim and drashos.

Chag at Home materials will be available for all of the Tishrei holidays: Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Succos and Simchas Torah. So check it out – and be sure to come back closer to yom tov as more material is being added regularly!

Billed as the ultimate “High Holiday toolkit,” Chag at Home builds off of the immense success and popularity of Sinai at Home, an OU Shavuos program that empowered people to build their own customized learning material. Visitors to the site click to add resources to their packet or folder as they browse through dozens upon dozens  presentations and documents. When finished adding the materials, a simple click to download  produces one, collated, multi-page document. For the upcoming holidays, the OU has partnered with schools, synagogue youth directors, and other organizations to provide material that includes every member of the community from every background.

With many attending abridged services this year there will be more at-home time for those alone and for those with family and friends. Chag at Home hopes to help deepen engagement on the holiest days of the Jewish calendar during one of the most challenging periods in generations.
