POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Executive Fellow will be provided with a blend of work and learning opportunities to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various HR projects that play a crucial role in the overall success at the OU.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an HR Fellow, you will be exposed to and assist in the performance of the following areas within Human Resources:
HR Analytics:
– Help collect and analyze various HR-related data to identify trends and provide insights to make sound HR decisions.
– Develop and maintain HR dashboards and metrics.
– Support workforce planning and forecasting efforts.
Recruitment:
– Review resumes and applications to identify fit for vacancies.
– Create and edit job descriptions.
– Attend recruitment events such as career fairs.
– Coordinate and schedule interviews.
– Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
Onboarding:
– Assist in the onboarding processes for new hires.
– Collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Talent Development:
– Help develop and execute training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of our workforce.
– Assist in the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive skills inventory for all employees.
– Work on projects to identify skills gaps and recommend strategies for skill development.
– Assist in the tracking of semi-annual goals and other performance measures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor’s degree
– Desire to learn and work in the field of Human Resources
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
