It’s a busy time of year for the Jewish people, with an unrivaled amount of cleaning, shopping and cooking. But Pesach prep doesn’t just mean the physical – we should also prepare ourselves spiritually for this major event. Starting Rosh Chodesh Nisan (which is Shabbos, March 21), get ready to Change Your Pesach, Change Your Life with Rabbi Dr. Gidon Rothstein.
Rabbi Rothstein may be familiar to followers of OU Torah from the many shiurim he delivered as part of the OU’s Shoshana Grossman Nach Yomi program. In this new series, Rabbi Rothstein examines the underlying themes of Pesach and makes them relevant to our lives today.
Would we have seen Hashem in the plagues? What were Moshe’s successes and failures? Could the Egyptians have done better? These and other topics are analyzed and applied in meaningful ways.
The program officially starts on Rosh Chodesh and runs through the end of Pesach (22 Nisan – Shabbos, April 11). However, since Rosh Chodesh falls on Shabbos, you may wish to start now. Change the way you think about Pesach – it’ll change the way you look at life!
