ASK OU OUTREACH COMES TO PASSAIC FOR YARCHEI KALLAH FEATURING RAV HERSHEL SCHACHTER, LABOR DAY SEPTEMBER 3
OU Kosher will bring its popular Harry H. Beren ASKOU OUTREACH program to the Passaic-Clifton community for a “Legal Holiday Yarchei Kallah” on Labor Day, Monday, September 3. Held in partnership with The Passaic-Clifton Community Kollel, the program will feature Rav Hershel Schachter, OU Posek and Rosh Yeshiva of RIETS. The free communal program begins with a hot breakfast buffet at 9:30 a.m. and the shiur beginning at 9:45 a.m. at the Bais Sholom Hall, 733 Passaic Avenue
Rav Schachter will discuss “Kashrus and Shabbos Away From Home.” Topics will include Shabbat candles; continental breakfast with cut fruits and vegetables; microwaves; electronic locks and doors; leaving meat in hotel refrigerator; sensors for lights and air conditioners; electric eye bathrooms; eiruvei chatzeiros; security cameras; and coffeemakers.
